He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he was trained under master sculptors of the day. From the outset, Bouret showed a great aptitude for sculpture, particularly human figures. Artistic career: Bouret is best known for his works from the Art Deco period, an artistic and architectural movement of the 1920s and 1930s characterised by geometric forms, clean lines and luxurious ornamentation. His sculptures often capture moments of grace and movement, reflecting the elegance and modernity of Art Deco. Style and works: His style is marked by great attention to detail and impressive technical mastery. Bouret worked mainly in bronze, creating sculptures of dancers, athletes and mythological figures, all imbued with dynamism and vitality.
