-Important crystal vase by Louis Leloup, famous Belgian master glassmaker born in Seraing in 1929. This artist made his debut as an apprentice glassmaker at the famous Val-Saint-Lambert crystal factory in Belgium. He then embarked on a very personal work and gradually set up his own workshop. He particularly excels in the art of using several canes to blow crystal and create large sculptures. His mastery of materials and enamels allows him to produce forms and effects that were said to be impossible. Already in 1990, he exhibited in Asia, at the Fine Arts Museum in Taipei (Taiwan). Since 1997, a Louis Leloup museum has been entirely dedicated to him in Kyoto, Japan. A school is associated with it; its techniques are taught there to students from all over the world.
