Jean Claude Dresse was born in 1946, in Charleroi, into a family of artists. He is studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Charleroi. He is, with his father, one of the key figures in the creation of contemporary art furniture in Belgium in the 1970s. In 1985, he made his first personal painting exhibition in Brussels. His work, arising from the memory of dreams, imposes itself as a magic.
