French Art Deco bar cabinet with two stools, ca 1930

It was made from varnished red oak with nickel-plated metal fittings and, a rare feature, it still has its sand-cast sea glass top. The oak stools have polished aluminium bases and are covered in deep red imitation leather. The bar has interior shelves. The whole set is in an astonishing state of preservation, both functionally and aesthetically. The woodwork is accident-free, and the chromed metal has been polished and shows no signs of oxidation.
