Art Deco Modernist double-sided walnut desk, Belgium ca 1930

This is a rare and unusual piece of furniture.
It's a double-sided desk in the purest style of Belgian Art Deco modernism.
It uses the stylistic codes of 18th century cardboard desks, but in a refined, cubist style.
This piece of furniture is made from European flamed walnut.
It can be dismantled into four self-supporting parts (just four screws and two bottom screws to replace).
It has its original light fitting, also in blackened wood (currently fitted with a small LED neon light).
This piece of furniture is in very good original condition with a few traces of use and superficial wear.)
It has period satin varnish.
It has all its metal handles and key.
In short, this is a rare, decorative and very practical piece of furniture, with its two workstations, numerous drawers and storage compartments, all in a very reasonable space.
