Anatole Riecke was a Russian glass artist, notable for his crucial role in the Parisian Art Deco movement. Based in Paris, Riecke gained particular recognition for his decorative glass work. From 1930 to 1937, he was responsible for the glass decoration of the famous restaurant La Coupole in Paris. His work there is emblematic of the elegance and innovation of the Art Deco style. Riecke is admired for his mastery of materials and his ability to create designs that are both functional and aesthetically remarkable. His legacy lives on in the works he created, including those on display at La Coupole.
